Mirassou Winery has established a business optimist award that recognizes businesswomen who have overcome adversity, and to honor those women who view the glass half full where others might see a glass half empty. The award was presented at NAWBO's 2004 Women's Business Conference in Dallas, TX, with the winner receiving $10,000 and a trip to the conference. The establishment of this award marks Mirassou Winery’s official association with NAWBO as a corporate partner for 2004.
